Maybe all the imperfections are what make it all the more beautiful, or at least what make simple things stand out more. We couldn’t appreciate beauty without the ugliness and disarray.

I miss living on and being surrounded by bodies of water. I am sure that it is painfully apparent from the pictures I post how much of an affinity I have for the sea. The sheer power and beauty that it has are unmatched. I always look to it as an escape, a promise that even with the roughest of currents can come tranquility.
Oddly enough, one of the hardest parts of coming to college has been moving inland and leaving the water behind.
Being happy doesn’t mean that everything is perfect - only that you’ve decided to look beyond the imperfections.
